Join us on our glorious knitting Voyage of the Glaciers, sailing between Vancouver BC and Whittier, AK. Our 7 day journey will cruise on the beautiful Diamond Princess June 6 to 13, 2009. Destinations will include Ketchikan, where you can kayak in areas rich in beauty, Juneau, the capital city of Alaska, Skagway, known as the “Gateway to the Yukon”, Glacier Bay National Park, jewel of the national park system, and College Fjord, where you will glide through Prince William Sound’s breathtaking tidewater glaciers. During the cruise 12 hours of knitting classes will be taught by Susan Dirk and Betsy McCarthy. The optional two night extension in Anchorage at the end of the cruise is available and we will spend one full day visiting the Musk Oxen Farm in Palmer, stopping at the Oomingmak Knitters Co-op in Anchorage and taking in as many knitting shops in the area as possible.
