Set sail for Alaska with your fellow knitters, cruising the Inside Passage on board Princess Cruises dazzling Star Princess®. Combining a 7 day cruise to beautiful Alaska with plenty of time to knit makes this the perfect vacation. What more could a knitter ask for? Cruising from Seattle will give you the comfort of exploring this part of Alaska with little hassle.
We will sail into Tracy Arm Fjord, giving us the opportunity to glide past towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls to the twin Sawyer Glaciers. Our ports of call offer unique optional activities to enhance your cruise. Ketchikan offers fishing, kayaking and flight seeing into striking Misty Fjords. Skagway was the gateway of the Alaska Gold Rush, which means lots of history to explore. Juneau is the place to try dog sledding or ice climbing, and Victoria provides a taste of jolly olde England.
Two of our days at sea will include 6 hours each day of knitting classes with an incredible group in instructors, Susan
Dirk, Betsy McCarthy and
Annelie Wallbom. Each will be teaching something very special for the cruise. Classes will be limited to 60 students, and we suggest that you book early to guarantee the lessons.

What’s included? Your cabin, three or more meals daily, 12 hours of knitting classes at sea, farewell reception and lots of time to knit. Additional costs include material for classes, travel insurance, port charges and taxes, shore excursions, tips, travel arrangements to and from the cruise, hotel arrangements you may need, bar tabs and items of a personal nature. Our rates are per person and are based on double occupancy. Single, triple and quad rates are available on request. Non knitters are welcome to join us.
