ABOUT
US!
I
am Sonja Myklebust, creator of CRUISEKNITTERS.COM.
Because of my love of knitting and my passion for
cruising, I have combined the two to create
CRUISEKNITTERS.COM.
My
journey in the Travel Industry began in 1969. Since then
I have been employed by two major cruise lines, one
airline, and have owned my own Travel Agency for 17
years and have earned my CTC, which is a degree in the
travel industry. I specialize in escorting groups on
cruises, which I do with great enthusiasm and passion.
Knitting
came naturally to me, picking up my first pair of
knitting needles when I was a teenager. Through the
years I have knit many wonderful gifts for friends and
family. I am an active member of both the Seattle
Knitters Guild and the Eastside Knitters Guild
(Bellevue, WA) where I served as President for 1½
years. Currently I am completing LEVEL ONE in the Master
Knitters Program through TKGA.
When
I cruise, I enjoy many wonderful hours of knitting. The
luxury of knitting time makes cruising the perfect place
to start or finish a project. I have put together
knitting cruises to include not only time to knit, but
also include the fabulous experience of being taught by
